Quick Christmas Gifts & KK Limited Specials from $20

Coming to our Minicuteture store just in time for Christmas are some inexpensive pretty beaded gifts, made by my daughter and myself. These include phone/camera dangles, bookmarks and wine glass charms. We have been working very hard on some gorgeous clay jewellery but I am not sure when this will be listed as Christmas is coming so very fast and so many other things take priority. However they will become a regular feature of our Minicuteture store.
The beaded items will be available shortly.
KK SPECIALS: very limited number of KK AIOs from $25; and POCKET KKs from $20.
SOAKERS:Instock soakers for 20% off ($24 instead of $30 and free post) until Christmas but you need to mention a special code word, which you will find in the description of one of the items in our Minicuteture store. Just look for a word that seems out of place in the description, but please don't pass it on; the fun is in finding it for oneself.Instock soakers can be found here

Quick Silly Prices Sale

Sometime this week I am having a brief silly prices sale.It will include stock that has been sitting around for a while which I had forgotten about, with prices starting at $5, plus some current stock of woollies which will be significantly discounted.
I am not sure exactly when it will be but it will be in the middle of one day and the prices will be worth waiting for; I still need to find what I have and organise photos etc, so I can't tell you what will be included until it actually happens. I have been installing a new computer and have not had a chance to organise the photos yet.
Ceejay Intro to Cloth packs are also on the agenda very soon; these will not be of interest to dyed in the wool clothies, but will be ideal for gifts for new mums.
I hope to have the info up on the ceejaynappies site this week as long as everything works on the new computer.

Possum Pouches at Minicuteture

Possum Pouches is pleased to announce a new store at Minicuteture
There is one KK listed there at the moment at almost 40% off, as an opening special- it is only there for a short time.
However Possum Pouches is making changes for 2009 and this store will not always have just KKs and knits.New items are planned so watch the blog for upcoming info.

December already?

The year has flown by, especially the last 4 or 5 months.
I have spent a lot of time contemplating the future of PossumPouches as I have a "big" birthday fast approaching.
I decided to venture into some different products to give myself a chance to pursue some of my other interests and add variety to the site/s. Although I have been working hard to get these ready I have had a lot of family things on so am not sure exactly when they will all appear but I hope it will be soon. I am also making a few other changes- more about those later.
Watch this space.

Our trip to Australia Zoo was, as always fantastic. It was uncomfortably hot but Jacob had a great time at his farmyard visit and DH loved his wombat encounter.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jacob

Little Jacob turned 2 on Sunday. He had a lovely afternoon with a few friends and some relatives. The storm hit Toowoomba that afternoon but didn't spoil it for him; there was enough time to play on trampoline and in the sandpit.
He was a little worn out that night though.
Next weekend-weather permitting he has another celebration, this time at the beach and zoo.
I returned to Brisbane next morning-power had been out since the storm hit there, and remained off for more than 24 hours. We were fortunate to have a lead running from our neighbour's home, as he has a small generator. That helped keep the fridge going and we have always had emergency gas equipment for lights and cooking.
The explosion of the insulators on the power pole was loud and made an incredible mess.
While we didnt have any tree damage we did have a loss of some electrical equipment but others around us were not so lucky and will be feeling the effects for some time to come.I think most people in Brisbane and surrounds were affected in some way by this one.If nothing else it can help make people aware of the need to keep gutters cleared and trim overhanging trees.
Meantime it is back to the everday grind.
A very few Mini soaker keyrings are being given with instock knits until stock(of keyrings) runs out.
The intro to cloth packs will be up and running before the month is over, on the www.ceejaynappies.com.au site
